RETURNS & EXCHANGES

Sass & Co complies with Australian Consumer Law.

All pieces have an automatic consumer guarantee that each product is sold without faults, and match their online descriptions. Sass & Co are unable to guarantee against loss, gradual degradation, damage, breakage or changes in appearance due to general wear and tear and/or improper use or storage of your jewellery.

Returns
If you change your mind, you may return your items within 14 days of receiving your parcel.
You must request a return and send it off within 14 days for your return to be eligible.
Returns incur a postage cost of $10.
Returns must be lodged via our online returns portal. 
Returns will only be accepted if they meet the criteria listed below:
    • Items must be returned unworn, in their original packaging, with all cards and boxes/pouches included.
    • Returns that are received in an unsatisfactory condition or sent without tracking will not be accepted.
  • We do not accept returns of:
    • Earrings: For hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept any returns on earrings, unless the item is faulty. 
    • Personalised, re-sized, altered or engraved items: these items are considered a final sale.
    • Gift Cards and Vouchers
    • Purchases that were made at Sassano’s Jewellers Melbourne (Please return in-store purchases back to the store)
    • Any final sale items or items in which the description specifically states no returns. 
If you wish to return your item/s, you will be issued a store credit. 

HOW TO SUBMIT A RETURN REQUEST:

Click the profile icon in the store's navigation.

1. Log in to your account:

      -In the Email field, enter your email address, and then click Continue.

      -In your email account, open the email sent from our store and copy the six-digit verification code included in the email.

3. Go back to the online store, and then enter your six-digit verification code.

2. Click the order that you want to submit the return for.

3. Select the items that you want to return.

4. Select a return reason and add a note for us 

5. Click Request return.

If your return request is approved and requires shipping, you will then receive an email with shipping instructions and a return shipping label.
When we receive the parcel, you will receive store credit to your email address (in the form of a gift card) within 5-10 business days.

Shipping costs are non-refundable for change of mind returns.

Please note: All return/exchange items will be inspected by our customer care team. 
It remains at the discretion of Sass & Co Jewellery as to whether an item will be accepted for return based on the conditions listed above.
Sass & Co Jewellery reserves the right to refuse a return if items do not meet the above criteria. 

Under the Australian Consumer Law, consumers do not have a right to return a product if any of the following apply: (Source https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/products-and-services/refunds-repairs-and-returns/guarantees-that-apply-automatically)
  • You changed your mind and no longer want the product
  • Ordered the wrong product
  • Found the product cheaper elsewhere
  • Damaged the product by misusing it
  • Used the product for a long time and the problem is as a result of usual wear and tear.
Exchanges 
In the event you would like to exchange your item, please process a return first, and then use your store credit to purchase the new item. 
 
Store credit will be processed within 5-10 business days from the package reaching us.

Refunds
Please choose carefully as we do not provide refunds for change of mind or where a purchase is not fit for the intended purpose.

In line with Australian Consumer Law, refunds will only be processed if the item is deemed to have major faults. For minor faults, we may offer a repair or replacement item in lieu of a refund.

Remedies we can apply for a minor fault or problem include: 
  • Provide a replacement that is identical, or of similar value
  • Repair the product within a reasonable time, or
  • Give a refund.

Please note: consumer guarantees do not apply where you:

  • Received the item you purchased but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper elsewhere, decided you did not like the purchase or no longer had use for it
  • Misused a product in any way that caused the problem
